Hi, sewing girls!! I just thought of a tip the other day as I was using one of my "notions." My daughter-in-law, Katherine, has some pretty good notions, and she's so excited about that.
When you shop for notions (thread, pins, needles, seam rippers or gauges, etc. DON'T scrimp. You'll be so happy sewing w/good quality tools.You can even find them on sale occasionally, and you can always find fabric on sale, if you're patient. (That would be a tip for me, too!!) Happy sewing!

Once I bought a wrist pincushion, which I really needed, for a whole dollar. It lasted about 15 minutes before it fell apart. I think that's called being a cheapskate!
